East African Payment Integration Project

The East African Payment Integration project, supported by FSD Network, has transformed how money moves across borders in the region. By connecting Kenya's M-Pesa, Tanzania's M-Pesa, Rwanda's MTN Money, and Uganda's Airtel Money through a single interoperability layer, we've enabled instant, low-cost transfers between millions of East Africans.

  • Daily transactions increased by 340% since launch
